We'll be meeting over zoom for our last lesson on having I can have Confidence to Make a Difference and then we'll be taking a short break in August. The lesson videos will still be available in August and they are available to watch on our YouTube page.
Transitions and Other Things.
We are winding down our online lessons and gearing up for in-person ministry! It's been quite a year and a half and I just want to give a big THANK YOU to you (parents and families) for your patience and grace as we tried new things, learned new technology and created a different kind of rhythm for kids church.
August and September will seem quiet but there will be lots of things happening behind the scenes. I will share my thoughts and plans with you over time but right now, would you pray for the kids and the kids ministry? God is working in our midst and I'm so excited to see what he has in store for our church community.
If you are interested in serving at ResKids (either for Sunday ministry or behind-the-scenes organizing) please contact me! We have a wonderful ResKids team but we could still use some extra help, especially as we gear up for re-opening! E-mail, call or text me and I would be happy to give you the details.
Now... we finally have names for our two Press Play mascots! Please meet Rolio (the Rollerskate) and Squeak! Congratulations to Donovan and Christian / Levi for suggesting these names. We will send you a fun prize in the mail.
Lastly, don't forget to join in on the fun we're having in August with the ResKids Summer BINGO challenge! Those who attended last week's ResKids in the Park already completed a couple of the challenges but you have lots of time to complete the rest.

While driving ask your child, “What is something we can do to make a difference? While riding around, let’s look around us to see if we can find something to do in our community to help.” (Encourage your child to see donation centres, food to purchase or donate, etc.)
