Mission: SPAM Kick-Off

One of the best parts about organizing a special Sunday for the kids is seeing the young adults from Crossroads and the teens from Ignite use their creativity and skills to bless the ResKids ministry.

Despite doing all our brainstorming, planning and organizing online, members of these two fellowships came together to put special elements to the kids lessons and newsletters. They developed a brand-new choose-your-own-adventure game, designed the TWO logos for Mission: SPAM and organized the social media posts for the next few weeks. It's a blessing to see them work together with a common goal to teach and bless the kids at Res.

As we kick-off Mission: SPAM this Sunday, I'm excited for what we can do as a church community. God, who is creator and owner of all, has blessed us with resources to use for His glory and kingdom. I pray that we come together to give and bless our community, as a reflection of who He is and what He's done in our lives.

Because of Jesus, we can be kind and generous to others.

This Mission: SPAM newsletter is the first of three super-sized printable activity booklet for ResKIDS. Inside, kids will find information about Mission: SPAM, some Food Bank facts, activities, a craft and even a recipe for Spam masubi!  I hope you'll enjoy reading through this newsletter with your family as much as we enjoyed putting it together.

On Sunday, join us for Mission: SPAM Sunday School at 11:45am (preschool to Grade 2) and 1:00pm (Grades 3 to 7). Contact Kat for zoom login details.
