Grace to the Humble

And after you have suffered a little while,

the God of all grace,

who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ,

will himself restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you.

1 Peter 5:10

We've had a fruitful few months, learning from Peter about living in the midst of suffering and hardship. We've studied the lives of many faithful Christians including St. Patrick, Betsey Stockton, and Corrie Ten Boom. Each person we studied demonstrated faith, grace and hope in their suffering which revealed what and who they lived for and where they put their trust. I hope that the courage and bravery demonstrated by these lives help our kids to not only trust in God, but to live through hardship with faithfulness.

Just like Peter's letter, we end our series this week on a hopeful note. God promises that He himself will eventually restore, confirm, strengthen and establish us (1 Peter 5: 10). Praise God!

Our next series will kick off on June 26. More information about our summer plans will be released in the next couple of weeks. Meanwhile, here's our June ResKids schedule:
